TARA COVEY, APRN MSN, FNP-BC

Tara Covey is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Anti-Aging Healthcare Practitioner with over two decades of experience in healthcare. Throughout her extensive career, Tara has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care and an innovative, holistic approach to health.

With a background in acute care, obstetrics, and primary care, Tara has honed her expertise in catering to diverse patient populations.

Tara’s own personal health journey opened her eyes to the lack of individualized care available to the public in the traditional healthcare model. This led to her motivation to seek the additional training and education needed to meet the ongoing patient needs she saw them struggle with daily.

Her dedication to empowering patients has led her to focus on personalized, root-cause medicine, aligning with her belief in tailoring interventions to each individual's unique health goals.

Tara's advanced training in bioidentical hormones allows her to guide both men and women through the hormonal changes associated with PMS, PCOS, perimenopause, menopause and andropause to safely and effectively alleviate symptoms of imbalance and hormone deficits, maintain a healthy weight and prevent age-related diseases.

This patient-centric philosophy is characterized by her emphasis on active listening, research-based interventions, and comprehensive support. She is passionate about guiding her patients through informed decision-making, helping them attain complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

Additionally, Tara recognizes the significance of aesthetics in overall wellness and offers a range of in-office procedures to promote a harmonious balance of mind, body, and spirit. Her philosophy embraces guiding the body rather than forcing it, leading to natural-looking rejuvenation.

If you're seeking a health management partner to develop a personalized health and wellness plan that aligns with your current and long-term goals, Tara is eager to hear your story and assist you in reaching your personal best.

Beyond her professional commitments, Tara finds fulfillment in her roles as a wife and mother. Her husband of over 20 years is an emergency nurse and firefighter, and together they have two children and a beloved great dane. In her leisure time, Tara enjoys immersing herself in a good book, both literature and research, engaging in creative pursuits such as sewing, nurturing her garden, and relishing the great outdoors through camping expeditions with her friends and family.
